The breakup didn't last (LCD got back together in 2016 and made a fourth album in 2017) but that doesn't make this show any less great. It spawned a 2012 documentary, Shut Up and Play the Hits, and in 2014, the whole MSG concert was released as a limited edition 5-LP live album box set, The Long Goodbye, with the audio mixed by James Murphy at DFA Studios to 1/4" analog tape specifically for vinyl. Out of print pretty much since its original release, The Long Goodbye is now getting a new vinyl repress in celebration of the concert's 10th anniversary.

the box set sounds incredible. the royal albert hall is is the best its gonna be. the multi tracks are not in the atlantic vaults, for the 3 shows these were the the mix down tapes . the thing with cream was theyd would have the intro and then the middle part was always different. the most radical is always spoonful. not one sounds ever the same. now wheres the wheels of fire deluxe edition. ALL the remaining live tracks from the march 68 fillmore west and winterland shows. studio outs with early ibc takes (white room no wah wah,backing tracks etc). they missed the 50th anniversary 3 years ago. if you dont own the box you should.
In June 2011, LP co-wrote "Afraid to Sleep", which was performed by NBC's The Voice finalist Vicci Martinez and reached #10 on the iTunes Top Singles Chart. In September 2011, LP signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records. Shortly after, "Into the Wild", written and performed by LP, was prominently used in a Citibank national television advertisement campaign. In April 2012, LP released her first major label album, Into the Wild: Live at EastWest Studios, a five-song live extended play, and started touring extensively including festivals such as SXSW, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot, Tropfest as well as Tokyo's Sonic Boom and London's Hyde Park. In 2012, LP became the first female Martin Guitar ambassador.[16]
"How Low Can You Go" and "The One That You Love" were released in 2020. "One Last Time", "Goodbye", and "Angles" were released in 2021. All five songs were released as singles for the album Churches, which was released on December 3 that year.
