Philadelphia Area Group Psychotherapy Society

The Philadelphia Area Group Psychotherapy Society (PAGPS) is a professional organization in the Philadelphia region committed to the practice and advancement of group psychotherapy. PAGPS serves as a professional home for group psychotherapists and provides valuable resources to the public.

As the Philadelphia Area affiliate of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, PAGPS promotes the exchange of ideas, theories, studies, research, information, and experience in group psychotherapy.

Members come from all over the region, including the city of Philadelphia and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Members of PAGPS are part of a nurturing community of group therapists who actively support each other, engage in ongoing learning, and educate the public on the enormous benefits of group therapy for well-being, healing, and growth.
