Whether experienced or new, the complexity and richness of starting a new group is unique to each leader. Family of origin dynamics, fantasies, and life experiences that motivate us to start groups can support or hinder our efforts. Group trainings offer unique opportunities to develop desires and also to uncover inner obstacles to starting and leading groups.
