Anger Management Group
Do you struggle to control yourself when you are triggered? Would you like to learn how to manage your anger and other strong emotions so that you can stay calm and communicate respectfully?

Serenity Solutions offers a 10-week Anger Management Group beginning 07/22/2026. People who have participated in the group in the past have benefited by learning:
-what triggers them
-how their thoughts and feelings feed into their anger
-mindfulness tools to catch themselves when they feel triggered, so they can decide how they want to respond instead of reacting in ways that they later regret
-ways to decrease and let go of angry thoughts and feelings
-how to communicate assertively
-how to make choices that fit with their values
-stress management

This group is for adults who want to learn how to manage their anger so that they can be the partner, parent, friend, sibling, child, boss, or employee that they want to be. For the person who doesn’t want to feel bad about how they reacted to their loved one. For the person who is afraid that if they don’t get their anger under control, their loved one might leave. For the person who got in trouble with the law because of their anger, but who has always known that they needed help with their temper.

About the Facilitators

Alisa Kamis-Brinda has over 20 years of experience working with people struggling with anger management issues. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who specializes in anger management, anxiety, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and addictions. She works with clients to learn the tools to live meaningful lives even when symptoms show up.
